At the velocity of languor
we mailed in our rebate
while sliding on marshmallows
through gates of redemption,
bartering our fate
with a coupon from Kmart.
Living our deaths
with ulterior motives,
meeting and mating
with copulent abandon,
stratifying corrugations
of color and sustenance,
Marvelizeing machinery
at the risk of absurdity,
proselytizing…
