Military Convoy on Railroad Through Texas — Video Included
Anything to do with 101st Airborne doing maneuvers next to Ukrainian border?
Turning off the main highway in Calvert, TX to find a shade tree to park under to eat the fried chicken I bought in Hearne, TX, the guards came down on the railroad crossing for the tracks that parallel the highway. I stopped to watch a trainload of military equipment pass by. I took out my camera in time to get video of about two thirds of the train heading south.
I published an article October 5 about a trainload of tanks on these very same tracks except the location was in Hearne, TX about 10 miles south of Calvert. The conjecture about this equipment going to Ukraine continues. Interest is peaked because of news that the 101st Airborne has been sent to Europe for the first time in 80 years.
They are practicing maneuvers in Romania just miles from the Ukrainian border.
Approximately 4,700 Screaming Eagles have joined Romanian forces in live fire exercises along the border, sending a message to the Russians that American troops are ready to defend NATO soil by fortifying its eastern flank. The exercises are designed to replicate what has been going on in the war between Ukraine and Russia.
