Elon Musk and the Zombie Apocalypse

Here is the setting: Elon Musk is talking with Joe Rogan about how bad downtown San Francisco is with regard to all the homeless and drug addicts from his corner office in the X Corp. building.

Here is a partial transcript. Elon says, “It’s a zombie apocalypse. It’s rough … You have to say ‘what philosophy led to that outcome?’ and that philosophy was being piped to Earth … a philosophy that would ordinarily be quite niche and geographically constrained so the fallout area would be limited … [an extinctionist (his word) cult — on Twitter] was effectively given an information weapon, an information technology weapon [referring to Twitter] to propagate what essentially is a mind virus [in his words a “woke”, or left-wing philosophy] to the rest of Earth. And the outcome of that mind virus is very clear if you walk around the streets of San Francisco. It is the end of civilization.”

Joe Rogan is nodding his head, (my paraphrasing) “That’s right, Elon.”

This is a billionaire making a very melodramatic and thinly veiled excuse for a forty billion dollar mistake in the purchase and rebranding of Twitter. If not, it is even worse. He believes there actually is some “woke”, whatever the hell that is, philosophy out there being wielded…
